Earthquake?

We have a sixth sense...but tonight at 8:04pm we didn't feel a thing.
A broom did fall in the garage...that caused us to bark. But that was it.

Earthquake ?

Granted we're in Fairfield...and the earthquake was centered in Alum Rock near San Jose. And when we learned THAT, we were worried about our cousins. But mommy is 'earthquake ready' and quickly went into action.

She called A. Jackie on her cell & when she finally got through and learned everyone was ok there...she hung up & called grandma and daddy & then txt'd A. Susie & A. Jonalyn, to spread the good news. phewww....

She knows a thing or two about a good communication strategy... After all, she IS in marketing.

She also asked daddy to let Nana Rosie & Pappa Rich know that all is ok here. And there was no need to worry. (MISTAKE)

Daddy needs to take a lesson in communication from momma...P R O N T O !

You don't send an email with a subject line "Earthquake!!!!" and no copy...unless you want to cause panic in the family tree.

Tonight mom & dad talked about what they would dress us up as... IF they were going to dress us up.

I have pride. And although I think Brownie would make a good Dopey, I (Rocco) am NOT dressing up as S. White!

Aunt Jackie loves Halloween.

She’s nostalgic.

She loves a come back story.

And she loves a good laugh.

We think she should dress up as “Marie Osmond fainting on Dancing with the Stars”. Its the P E R F E C T Halloween costume for her.










We can't wait to see her in light blue ruffles.

We found the perfect Halloween costume for Mochi.

She's a fancy girl. A Teacup Yorkie, we think. Mommy works with her daddy.

And he's been searching and searching for this costume. But its been on backorder. We don't know what that means...but we know our momma never says never.

We hope Little Miss Mochi likes it...

...but we're just not quite ready to give it up.

Bringing Daddy the Newspaper

Brrrr....It's cold in the city tonight. So after our walk, we cuddled up on the couch together.

When it was time for bed, momma looked at the fur we left on the throw & told daddy it was time to take it to the cleaners.

Rocco Snags a Rose Bush

We were out back this morning making sure all was right with the world…well, at least in Fairfield.

All of a sudden something on the side yard got our attention. We needed to investigate.

Daddy opened the gate. I (Brown) was quickly on the scent. Up on the hill. Sniffing fearlessly between rose bush & rose bush. I was in my element.

I (Rocco) decided I'd better follow. Brown’s got the nose, but I’ve got the brains. I needed to keep her in check. I gracefully leaped up the hill. I carefully followed Brown’s 'pawsteps'…weaving in between the rose bushes.

And then I suddenly stopped. Reality check: I couldn't move. I was stuck. Hooked. Stranded.

My plumb of a tail was attached to a rose bush.
Drats. All I could do was plea to daddy for help.

How totally embarassing.

We have another NEW cousin.

She's very cute. And very small.

She's a rescue pup.

Brownie Breaks her IPAW

We got iPaws for our birthday.

I (Brownie) LOVE mine. I’m so into the latest technology. I can spend hours playing (with) it. As long as mommy keeps throwing it for me to fetch.

Noisey Blue Angels

Momma's favorite weekend in San Francisco is Fleet Week, the first one in October!





She loves fast planes. Especially the Blue Angels.



We came into the city early on Sunday Aunt Susie & U.Rick & A. V. came over to watch.



At 3pm they went up to the roof. Daddy took the camera. This is what he shot while we were left to watch football on a very loud TV in the condo.
